No Conditions

No Conditions

When I hear people say “I love you,” or “you are loved,” I often wonder where the limit is for it. I understand that people have limits, it’s just something I wonder about.
I say this because I want you to know that when I tell you I love you, that you are loved, it is unconditional. Whatever you think of yourself, whatever you think you’ve done that deserves scorn and hatred, I want you to know that I still love you. It doesn’t mean I condone anything, just that you are still loved, and I still want you to be loved.
Some people may think “you can’t do that, no person can have the capacity for that kind of love,” but they are wrong. There are people out there who love others unconditionally, who can look past the flaws in each person, and connect with their humanity. Granted, for some situations it can be more difficult than others, but it’s still possible, and there are people who can do it.
I am one of those people. You will find a safe harbor here. You will find love here. Unconditionally.
