Milton Was Wrong

Regardless of what others might say, every person is worthy of love. There are no monsters. Every human being is a person, and every person a human being.
There are no monsters.

  1. The “monsters” are mentally ill, suffer from some other kind of brain damage, and/or have suffered severe emotional trauma and lack natural resilience. Monsters don’t just happen for no reason.

    1. Indeed, and instead of helping them, we (at least the U.S.) throw them in a cell, and leave them untreated, so that the condition gets worse. Instead of truly attempting to rehabilitate people, we find it much more profitable to use them as a source of income, especially private prisons, which is something I consider obscene and vile all around.
