I Am The Diver

I Am The Diver

“Shallow estuary, metaphor,
Sunken abyssal, corollary.
Winding trenches, psychology,
Darkened grotto, hidden shore.

Surface tension, open ocean,
Grains of sand, grit and grind.
Doppler’d ripples, peace of mind.
Shoals fed, lapping their devotion.

Encapsulated liar’s fuel,
Tributary altitude.
With bio-luminescent crude,
Perched upon a cutty stool.

Constructed sea wall,
Nobody’s mission:
Avail your superstition,
In fearing the Narwhal.

I am the diver.”
